Yay! I really loved this! I think you wove Tess into the "I Do Over" timeline perfectly, and I love how her timer took made the human timer unnecessary so no one got, er, timed out? Sparkified? Well, dead, one way or another. Your voices for everyone are really, really good, too. I love the Jack/Tess banter, and Zoe's interrogation is spot-on! {grin

*grin* Glad you enjoyed it. I had a lot of fun figuring out how to work Tess' character in, and using her POV to avoid duplicating everything that happened in the aired episode.

I feel pretty similar about Jack/Allison; I loved the chemistry there at the beginning, but after the season 2 arc when she grew close to Nate again over Kevin and did nothing but jerk Jack around, I got over the pairing really quick. He seemed to have much more fun with Tess.

I thought about the duty thing, on the date loop; which is why I had Jack double-check with Weinbrenner right before the trip to make sure it wouldn't be that day. Though I may not have given that as much weight as I should have? I had plot reasons for wanting them to be pretty distant when days'-end hit. *shrug*
