LOVED this story so much.

I love Logan in this - his softness but also his strong confidence in what they have.

I think Max and Ben and OC are all great here - really trying, even if they aren't succeeding all the time.

I love that Alec finds someone who will take care of him, and Ben finds someone who WON'T look the other way and baby him. He is a serial killer, after all.

Ames was sooo creepy here, but I love that Alec knows that his trust is misplaced/drug-induced - he knows that trust doesn't come that easy.

This was really beautiful and heartbreaking, but hopeful, especially with Logan/Alec. Thanks for writing this!

Thank you so much hon! This was so much fun to write! I love the idea of Alec and Ben actually getting to know one another. In the series Alec gets too much shit because of him and he never even knows him. I really wanted to do something where they really knew one another. I didn't want him to be stable though and I didn't want to lose the Alec we all knew and loved. Glad you liked it!

And yes! Exactly! Max won't look away like Alec has. She's been out on her own doing her own thing, but Alec was always about taking care of Ben so he can't (won't) do what he needs to do. And Logan gives Alec a place to let himself go.

And Ames... I debated about that whole thing, but I felt like Ames needed to be a part of this (and I adore that actor! :P) and it felt natural to turn his dislike of transgenics into an obsession with Alec!
