“You know the answer to that question and I ain’t going to dignify it.” Jayne snapped and retreated to the opposite end of the shuttle.

That strikes me as so Jayne-like, I don't know why.

His mind had been saying ‘don’t engage, don’t engage, don’t engage’ but he’d spent most of his life ignoring his mind’s advice.

*giggle* Now, that is Jayne-like. Perfect.
