dirty projectors is not the best album of 2007 and you know it. it was a very good one but the fact that they are something new comparatively is what makes you pull the vote their way. lets stay friends is most definitely 1st

i think it's sad when i haven't heard more than 5 albums that came out in 2007 and one of them belongs nowhere near a best of list (fuck you zeitgeist).

as someone who has listened to similar groups before to the projectors (deerhoof, etc) LSF beats rise above. rise above was good but not best of 2007 good.

LSF wasn't a particularly strong album. Quality music from a quality band, but I wasn't as moved as I was by Rise Above.

Also my rationale was pretty straightforward, couldn't tell you a best or least favorite track. Start to finish the album impressed me, and 100 listens later I still love every song. Wins for me.
