[the feed clicks on to show Oshitari sitting cross-legged on the cave floor, looking at the camera with utmost solemnity.]
Good morning, dear denizens of Johto. I am sending this missive on what is, alas, Day Four of my sojourn through the grand marvel of video game geology known as Mt. Mortar. While I have thus far avoided being trampled by rampaging hordes of angry Geodude or eaten by rabid Raticate, I am beginning to feel it is only a matter of time. The mountain is a harsh, cruel mistress, and her caverns are full of twists and labyrinths ready to lure unwary adventurers into their grasp. And though it pains me to admit it, I too have fallen into her devious trap, and find myself adrift in the sea of chambers with nary a star to guide me.
Nevertheless, I shall press on, resorting even to the tried and true breadcrumb method of navigation if I must. I owe it to my faithful Pokemon and their unborn brethren to see them back to the light of civilization, as without me Eugene would surely fall into the lake once again and be gored to death by wild Seaking, and Cassandra would no doubt break her teeth attempting to eat Rattata for sustenence. Amarissa would be left to defend the eggs all by herself, one lone Mareep against a cave full of Rock-types, and while it would make a wonderful start to an epic poem sure to rate alongside the great Homer himself, I simply cannot allow it to happen to my poor darlings.
[small cracking sounds start to be heard from the left of the Gear.]
So it is with both firm resolve and great trepidation that I continue forth on my journey, and hope to spot a shining crystal in the endless corridors of identical rock formations, or at least a stalagmite of a slightly different shape. Farewell, fellow denizens, and if the Lady Fate smiles upon us, my next missive shall come from the cozy warmth of an inn.
[as he moves to turn off the camera, the cracking sounds grow louder, until finally with a loud POP and a yelled CLEEEEEEEEE, something that looks like a pink ball flies into view and right into Oshitari's face.]
[there is a brief moment of silence, then he pulls the Cleffa away from him and examines it.] --awwwww, how adorable~
