urgent dental care

Is there a place in San Francisco that provides urgent (as in weekend and after hours) dental care?

I assume for folks without insurance? UCSF dental school has emergency services I've heard although the care is limited and is as lousy as the rest of the medical system. Pardon my pessimism. Good luck.

I didn't mean to sound so grouchy. I'm jaded and burned. I really do wish you luck. Emergency dental crap sucks. I took my partner to UCSF dental. It was fine for extractions, less than pleasant bedside manner. There's a shrink RN to help with anxiety, too.

It's for my dad. He does have insurance and a regular dentist, it's just he was in a great deal of excruciating pain last night, painkillers weren't working, and his doctor refused to come to the office at 8pm which is why we had to look for other options.
