8 pounds in two weeks? Wow... How'd you do it? What's the diet like? Did you buy the book? I'm tempted...I need to lose a few pounds so I can gain it right back during the holidays.:) You DO NOT need to lose anymore!!! :D Have fun on your trip! You'll be enjoying the warm weather while we freeze or get soaked back here...

Yup, I bought the book. You should pick it up!

The diet is broken up into three phases, the first when you are really strict on carbs and food combination, the second when you start incorporating a few carbs back into your diet and the third is a maintenance phase.

The book really helped me understand "good" carbs vs. bad, foods that will "stick" to you so you don't go hungry all the time (as you do with a high-carb diet), foods to pair carbs with (such as eating meat with pasta--which is much better for you to eat than pasta w/out meat for better digestion).

I could have easily lost more weight, but there were some occasions such as Anayah's birthday where I just HAD to have a huge piece of cake. :)
