Oh, god. There are so many more important things to worry about in this country in this time. There are quite a few reasons I want to move to Canada, and marrying a chick is at the bottom of my list. My mom bitches at the conservatives for being to hung up in the war to notice what's happening, but look at you goofy liberals! You're worried about some touchy-feeling gay rights bullshit.
Or perhaps I just perfer real facts to some crap meant to push my emotional buttons.
Yeah, but this only takes about five minutes of worry out of my schedule. Right now I'm more concerned about why Bush keeps saying how steadfast he is about the war -- which now is coming off as being stubborn more than steadfast -- when people ask him why we're in Iraq. And the nominee for the Supreme court.
I think real anecdotes would be more effective, but then again, if it bothers you that much, you can always not read it. I put it in an lj-cut in case no one wanted to deal with the anti-homophobianess that is the rage.
Myself, I try not to focus on it TOO much, but I liked it, and wanted to repost it anyway. Sorry to offend.
