Ya ever have those moments...

When ya look at something someone else has done and think to yourself, "WTF were they thinking/smoking/drinking?!"

yeah... that's my afternoon.

::giggle:: I've done that more than I'd care to admit... way too many times of "What was I thinkin'?!" Luckily this isn't something I've done... someone else gets it this time :)

Speaking of which, have you talked with Tina (or a different artist for that matter) about your tattoo?

And hey, we have to get your Buffys back to you! A good excuse for happy hour, eh?

I have talked with Tina and SHE ROCKS!!! Smooches and thank you! She helped design something more custom based on the one I'd picked... very snazzy. Just need to figure out when I can work up the nerve to do it.

And yes! Buffy!!! Maybe this thursday?

Fantastic! As far as the nerve goes, here's what I think. If you've thought about it for a while, a decent time like a month or more, and there are no serious, un-work-around-able objections to it, and it's what you want, then you should probably be done thinking about it. If there are unresolved issues about it in your mind, then sure, ponder it some more. But if you've pondered all the issues you can think of and you're hesitating because there might be more issues that you just haven't though of yet, then maybe it's not time for thinking anymore.

If you keep thinking about it and thinking about it, then with enough time you'll think yourself out of it. If you're at this point, then thinking won't do more good.

I over think many things, so I know. I thought about these tattoos for over 3 years. And there were no major breakthroughs in the last 2 3/4 years.

Stop thinking and do it!

IMHO :)

Ok fine... quite honestly, there have been 2 big things holding me back: 1) I hadn't found a design that I was really jazzed about, but have taken care of that, and after a couple of weeks, still really liking it. 2) my mom. Yes, I'm an adult, blah blah blah, but I still remembering her making comments about how horrible it is, etc. 2b) was cost, but Tina is so reasonable, I actually have the money now to get it done!

So I'm thinking that it's time to stop thinking... I'll check my plans for the weekend and see if she's available.

{{hugs!!}}
