Been a very long time

Can't remember why I stopped using LJ. Just do that from time to time. Guess I'm a horrible blogger.
Well, 25% of my hometown was destroyed by a tornado (inland hurricane) last month, including large portions of the town I remember best, incluidng two of the houses I lived in as a child, and all the schools I went to. Sort of sad there.

Sorry I've been gone for so long. Found some autistic groups on facebook, and they take up sooo much of my time. Looked into them because of the kids, and then after spending so much time with them, realized I'm probably like my kids, and a bit autistic too, so just really realated to them a lot.

That, and LJ was giving me a bit of a hard time last time I was on :S

I read over some of my older posts, and realized that yeah, it as the Ddos attacks that were the cause of why I stopped using LJ for a while. Usually if a site I go to often starts having problems, I stop using it for a short while, and go back later, hoping it gets better while I'm away.

heh S. - don't worry, I really know about preoccupied and "other things on the mind" etc. I'm a lousy poster but sometimes you just have to get things off your chest and for many things the larger degree of anonymity on LJ vs. fb makes it easier to post here.

Didn't even mean to blog a lot yesterday. Just had this feeling that I should start coming back to LJ.
