Ever have one of those days?

So I had my day pretty well planned out. Read paper, do crosswords, son took one of the cats to the vet at 10:30. I am paying for it so I wait for confirming call, due about 11. Make sure the phone is charged. Waiting. 11:30 no call. finally they call, card hasn't been accepted

I hate it when the water doesn't go on when expected!

The only water shutoff for my entire building is at the east end of the building. Anyone needs plumbing done, they have to notify the other people and shut off water to everyone.
