Ages ago, or so it seems, I worked in reservations. After taking general sales calls I moved on to international, then the international support desk and rate desk. mmm. rez calls.

i bet this was the days when Shuttle By UA were introducing fares to compete with SWA.

shoo, when I did Shuttle res calls, UA bought out the 1-800-SOUTHWEST phone number to take business from people thinkin' they reached SWA.

"Is this Southwest?" "No, but where would you like to fly?"

Close. I left res in '94 just before ESOP. The calls never changed I'm sure. :)
