Lingering

Seems appropriate to make an entry now that there seems to just be time on my hands. As many know my Mom has been in declining health as of late... ( Mom Cont'd )

Bill, I can't really find the right words, but it's beautiful to see the true nature of your family and friends come out at such a painful time.

Oh, Bill... I'm so sorry to hear that your mother is deteriorating the quickly. I'm glad that you got a chance to say your "I love you"s while she could still understand them.

that you and your Mom are in my prayers and thoughts. I am sure that the angels are there waiting for the time to help our Mom make the transition. If you need to talk, you know how to reach me.

Thank you Ed. :) I'm playing some of David's Oistrakh music for her now on itunes. It looks like she will be meeting those angels soon.

The end is that close? Wow! I don't know what to say. You seem to handle the situation rather well actually. You seem to be ready I mean. I had noticed the unusual time of the post but only could read it once back home. Hope you're Ok. You are, aren't you?

Yes Hon, I'm okay. Thanks so much for asking. :)

Dave has been a great comfort. We got a hotel room about 5 minutes away and I get snuggles between night shifts. I find the sleep deprivation combined with the high emotions puts your mind in a different place. I'm peaceful. I want to gently nudge Mom out of the imaginary nest into the next world where she can be free. She's almost ready to fly.

I REMEMBER... darkphuque August 15 2006, 16:55:05 UTC
You said "I want to gently nudge Mom out of the imaginary nest into the next world where she can be free. She's almost ready to fly."

I said those same words (exclude Mom and replace with Greg) as I stood next to his bed down at Stanford. We had taken a room in a motel, and would rotate sleep cycles. I remember...
