Awesome. I was going to ask if that was in the new Contemporary Jewish Museum, since it looked like something Daniel Libeskind would design. Zooming into the text at least I was half-right. :)
For anyone else interested, this is the main stairwell in the Denver Art Museum, called "Boettcher Canyon Walk", designed by Daniel Libeskind. The bold, angular building was inspired by "... the light and the geology of the Rockies, but most of all by the wide-open faces of the people of Denver..." I don't quite get that last part ;o)
When I saw the theme of this month's photo challenge, I thought of this immediately...
LOL - it's just an illusion created by the perspective... one expects the big wall to be vertical - it's actually at an angle... the person is, of course, standing straight up.
