maybe it is because I am set in my opinions or maybe because I am yet to hear an intelligent argument from the people on the opposing side, either way following statements make me both cringe and laugh at the same time

These are my feelings about what some people say with regard to these issues.

"Not passing this amendment will give too much power to government to dictate/ be involved in our private lives...." I'm speechless. Do they ever stop to think what they are saying even?

oh, I am also so mad abt it. They want less government and trying to mix religion w/ the state.??? I am puzzled.

Constitution is not the place for such amendments. Constitution is the Law of the Land and this Land is diverse w/ many beliefs and religions and values... Sadly, many ppl don't understand what that Yes or No means. We just talked abt it w/ my friends and for some, it was opening their eyes that they should not vote Yes. :(

that's the thing that drives me crazy.... they don't want government to be involved but want amendment in constitution which equals to government involvement.....
