I have no finished fic despite my best intentions *is sad*. But I cannot bear to be left out, so I shall evilly torment you with an excerpt from one of my innumerable WIPs. Since all those Jack bits were taken- I give you- mini!Jack. This is from a fic with the working title, "How I Spent My Summer Vacation ( ... )

Jon O'Neill slumped on the couch with a can of cola. As much as he would have preferred a beer, he'd rather sensibly decided that the hassle of possibly getting arrested wasn't worth it. Besides, cola was cheaper. And since starting a new life didn't entitle him to take the assets of his old one with him- he was being sensible there, too. Altogether, he concluded, if he really had to start over, he rather wished they could have blanked his memory of the past thirty years. Love the frame of Hammond getting the letter (and LOL at the AUs that probably leapt to mind for him) for clone!Jack going Black Ops!Jack? Deliciously, delightfully creepy!

Ooooh, you've got me hooked! I'd love to see the rest of this, so I hope you keep going. WIP's are as frustrating for the author as anyone else (at least mine are...) so I hope all this lovely positive feedback helps. *grin*
