After spending the last two months fighting an infection that I've apparently had for a long time before it decided to really go for it, I'm pleased to announce that I still have all my teeth, at least for now. I have had a root canal, though, and things are still going to be expensive. Ah, for dental insurance.... Oh well

Glad you got it taken care of, at least. Have you recovered from it? Some people seem to bounce right back from them; others take a while. (My mom has had more than one, and she has done both.)

It still feels a little sore, but I think it's pretty good. The whole root-canal part didn't hurt much, aspirins took care of any discomfort easily, so I guess I was pretty lucky. The infection/antibiotics totally zoned me out, though. Anyway, I seem to be in the percentage of people who don't have a lot of trouble with it. Yay! Hopefully it lasts. I expect there's another in my nearish future.

You're very sweet to think I'm a writer for Eureka - I only wish! I know some of the writers, it's a fun show, but no, alas, I've never written for them. I have written for Star Trek: Next Generation, and I used to write for animation as well...

That said, I am as much a fan of mixing humor with the drama and I hope you'll enjoy Four Dragons when it comes out!

Yeah, I'm a lot more poor, and had to do another round of antibiotics, but things seem okay, now... And I still have all my teeth! Yay!!
