Hey, this was really good! I liked Daniel's musing on the differences between his Jack and the other Jack. I like them too.

Both pairs of Jack/Daniel are very plausibly in character. A wonderful fic, and I especially liked the rarely-seen and very well done Intelligent!Danny and Protective!Jack.

I absolutely love AUs, especially mirror AUs. There is so much possibility. The whole fork in the road, choices made concept. And I absolutely love how you make "our" Daniel question the other Jack's motives - not trusting Daniel's judgement on ascension, not telling him about our Daniel showing up in the apartment. Really good contrast in the slight differences between protective and patronizing.
