Title: Year Six Author: Ilana Rating: PG-13 Spoilers: Nothing past sixth season. A/N: I feel I should warn you that this is very depressing, with no happy bits to make it better. Thanks to lyssie for the beta.
I enjoyed that. A nice angsty read. It's honestly one way I could see the team ending. As horrible as it sounds, I like that when one goes down, the rest go down too.
As much as I like SG-1 surviving and being happy, the odds are much more in favor of a more depressing ending (except for the fact that they're the main characters and are therefore protected from any lasting harm). I'm glad you didn't mind me showing that. :-)
I quite liked this. It was an interesting take, especially with Oma out of the picture, which meant ascended Daniel was never around too. Yeah, good stuff.
I mean, his choice to not accept ascension. He doesn't ascend, therefore he's not around when Ba'al tortures Daniel and when Teal'c's part of that massacre.
I got that she was there, but if Daniel doesn't ascend, that makes her out of the picture, right? ;-)
I enjoyed this, but I do love dark. And what-ifs are one of my favorite type of AUs. I liked the last paragraph too, because they would have to replace SG-1, but no matter how best or brightest, it would be painful.
