I just prefer the loud and grating reminder way of dealing. ::evil grin::

I don't want to seperate lyrical into two comms if I can at all help it. The reason we do both SG-1 and SGA together was in the first place because I knew setting up that sooner rather than later SG-1 was going to end and interest would die down.

So even though I'd never seen an ep of SGA I made the comm a challenge for both to ensure it's survival.

Just very sad that no-one seems to respond to any effort especially knowing we have the membership *there* watching the comm.

If not for both arrietty and ladyireth, my reminders each week would have scared off half teh membership, i always feel the urge to give them a piece of my mind.
so i'd like to see your reminders reflecting my own thoughts occasionally ;)

Which comm are you talking about? There's so, so many in the stargate fandoms now that I can no longer keep up with them all much less keep straight who mods where.

*hugs* I'm working on my entries atm. And youch, that is indeed sad. We have enough members, where IS everyone?

I've never seen an ep of SGA either but sometimes the lyrics are so inspiring they fit the SGA caps I DO have or can find easily from seeing all the previews on Sci-Fi. And I don't think you should separate it either.

Hmm, I do have a few thoughts. Have you considered providing cap suggestions folders? It seems to work well for me over at sf_incandescent.

Also, in regard to this rule: All icons must include at least 3 consecutive and directly quoted words fro the lyrics. It's possible you could see more members participating if you allowed people to use the song as inspiration also (without having to use the lyrics as text). I know many people who prefer to create hush icons.

I do hope participation picks up for this comm :).

I'm actually someone who prefers to create hush icons myself but the whole point of this comm has always been to be a lyrical text challenge.

In a fandom full of icon challenge comms it's our USP. Nobody else does it every week.

I could possibly try cap suggestions folders but I don't personally have the time to set them up.
