I absolutely love this! I enjoy melding the two mediums of paintings and digital images and I know how hard it is to get it right. You have really done an outstanding job here. The expressions are spot on and the placement flawless. Quite possibly, this will inspire some lovely fic... let's hope so because the scenario is quite intriguing.

And I got the painted look by using my "pencil drawing" filter and I added a layer at ca. 50 % opacity to the photoshopped heads of John and Rodney.

Unfortunately, when you click through that's the biggest version that exists.
My screen is still 1024x768 and so this already ment scrolling from left to right while doing it.

Perhaps I should really get a bigger screen ... *g*

I absolutely loved how you to the image transports them into a different time and place while retaining so much of what we've seen in canon.

They're deep in discussion, Rodney very self-assured, John a bit challenging. The golf club is a perfect nod to the scene where John fondled that in Rodney's presence. They're at Harvard and though I couldn't exactly identify the second logo, it looks like musical notes to me, a reminder of Rodney's experiences with music.

And they look pretty hot in those clothes ;)

When I saw the golf club in the picture I knew that I wanted to do an Atlantis manip with it. *g*

I tried to change the window in the background to a more Atlantis looking window, but that didn't work out, so I kept the original windows. (And thanks for mentioning that they are at Harvard - I planned to look it up, but I totally forgot. *g*)
