"I just couldn´t get over the fact that Sheppard would never have thought to write diary entries or even oral reports or anything of the sort while mutating into a bug, and I can´t imagine him being so open even in private entries."
"Had a hard time accepting that Sheppard at his buggiest was able to write in a journal."
"Good look into the changing mind of John Sheppard. The author covered the termoil as he mutated as well as his chagrin after he recovered. Too short though."
"Interesting to see the transition from lucid to losing it/bug mutant and back to lucid. I did feel that Sheppard’s surprise at Elizabeth’s keeping him was a bit out of character. I never got that impression during the episode that Elizabeth felt that way."
"Great look inside John's head, it was really well done. The only thing I'm not sure is if he'd keep a record of his mutation."

"My first reaction to this story was that it was too confusing. But I took a closer look and realized that it was actually quite humorous (particularly the ongoing lizard saga) and that the formalized structure of the daily report actually made the story funnier by contrasting the minutiae of the day to the usual episodic crisis."
"Hilarious. Perfect last line. Only one small detail: naming one person "He" was confusing for a while."
"This was a clever, detailed, funny, and all around entertaining piece. Love the military lingo, wish I knew it better so that I could use in writing more effectively. Poor Sheppard, McKay, and Hauptmann get injured by the lizard just stepping through the gate; Sheppard and McKay can’t buy any luck. Well done."
