Thank you very much for starting up this place, and keeping it going as long as you did! I think you've chosen right, to close the comm now rather than limping away into apathy, but I've really appreciated having it while it's lasted. (Three years? Wow! In fandom terms, that's a long cycle for anything; I've been on a number of mailing lists and BBs that haven't remained active that long.)

This comm definitely got me to read stories and pairings that I would not normally have tried, and I really appreciate that. :) It was very well-organized and well-run, and I'm glad the discussions will stay up for perusal.

This makes sense, but it really is a pity. I'll miss this comm. I barely knew ye! Many thanks for making it happen as long as you all did.

Thank you so much. I"m really glad you enjoyed the comm.

(And I am still utterly serious about letting us know if you write a sequel to your story we discussed. Since these discussions will remain online, somebody might find the sequel through the discussion of the original. :) )

Oh, don't worry! I'm indebted to the folks here as much as anyone else for inspiration. The problem is more time and the complexities of plotting the timeline (it's so big, ::whimper::), not lack of interest .... :>

I do so love me an epic story. :) And I love intricate stories as well. I have such issues with plotting that you'll almost never get either one from me.
