Entering the infirmary she glanced around curiously, it was very empty. The music slowly led her to where Jennifer was sitting, appearing fully engrossed within her laptop.
"Dr. Keller?" Teyla questioned as she came to a stop a couple feet away from her, after all she could be reading something private, and far be it from her to want to interrupt that. "I did as you requested with Lily.."
All she had really found out was that the woman was good at what she did, a little too cocky about her ability but she was far from out of shape.
"Oh, you did?" Jennifer turned around and shut the laptop, "Did she behave herself?"
Lily could be overconfident, on the verge of cocky most of the time, but that was natural for Lily and her abilities. Jennifer had known her for at least five years so she knew more than anybody.
"In a sense. She is a capable fighter but her overconfidence will be the death of her. Had I not been holding back with her, and assessing her, it would be possible she could have ended up in your infirmary. I do not believe that she understands the exact nature of keeping her ego out of her ability. It clouds judgement."
"Lily has always been like that. She once told me that the only thing that saved her life was that she had confidence. Get her to tell you about P74G21 and you'll understand."
It was the truth. Jennifer had heard it many times.
