Jennifer looked up at Samantha Carter entering her office. Jennifer had been working on her ATA research when the red-eyed and clearly exhausted woman showed up.
Startled, she asked, "What's wrong?" This brought her fully out of her work. She could recognize when someone hadn't gotten any rest for several days.
She smiled and lifted a hand to dissuade the woman's concern. "Nothing serious, Jennifer. I think it's just a bug." She moved to sit at a nearby chair. "Just some fatigue, soreness, and a bit of dizziness."
Sam shrugged, and smiled. "I wouldn't have come by, but it's been a week and it hasn't gotten better yet."
Oh, she knew that look. It was one she saw Janet give she and her comrades many a time. But in this case, it really was uncalled for! She even came in on her own without an emergency.
Sam gave a light smile, and moved closer to the doctor and her equipment. "Need me to sit? I thought it might have just been a bit of overworking or a cold, but its lasting longer than it should."

Why didn't anybody concern themselves with their health anymore?
"Let me have a look at you."
