Carson's lips were soft and full against his as Rodney shifted closer to his husband, desire thrumming through him as Carson's hands slid down his back.
The lights suddenly flickered overhead. "Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!" a small voice chanted from the next room over.
Rodney sighed, dropping his head to rest forehead to forehead with Carson. "I'll go. You wait here."

"Hey," a soft voice said. Elizabeth looked up from where she was reading a report, Tellan curled in a small ball beside her. "When did you get up?" Evan answered, carefully seating himself beside her, his hand immediately going to stroke gently down Tellan's back, his eyes as always full of soft affection when he looked at his son.
"A while ago. He was fussy, so I got up and sat with him till he fell back to sleep," Elizabeth answered, "and then I got caught up in reading reports."
Evan grunted and then took the device from her hand. "They'll still be here tomorrow. Come back to bed."
Elizabeth gave him a rueful smile, but stood. He dropped a quick kiss on Tellan's head and then slipped an arm around her waist.

"I don't know how you talked me into this."
Simpson just smiled and reached out to the ponytail drawn back so tightly on the other woman's head. "Just relax. This'll be fun. And then in a week..."
"You get to try it out, too."
Simpson slid her hands around, cupping the other woman's breasts, eliciting a moan. "Why, Albert Kavanagh, I do believe you're enjoying being a woman."
Kavanagh moaned again, this time with a tinge of annoyance. "I never should have told you my name."

Evie was jumping in her crib when Rodney walked in. She gave him a huge grin, throwing her arms up. "Papa!"
"Hey, kiddo, what did you need?" Rodney asked, looking into the big blue eyes of his daughter as he swung her out of her crib.
"Where's daddy?" she whispered. "Sick?"
"He's sleeping now," Rodney lied. "Just like little girls should be."
"Read first! Read!"
Rodney sighed and then reached for the shelf of books near the rocking chair in the room.
"Horton!" Evie demanded.
"Oh, wouldn't you rather--"
"Horton!" the toddler repeated stubbornly.
Rodney rolled his eyes, then pulled out the well-loved copy of Horton Hears a Who. "Okay, okay. Horton."

"There is another one!" Miko said, pointing as a light streaked across the sky.
John curled closer to her, hand resting against her curved belly. "Did you make a wish?" he whispered in her ear.
"No," she answered, leaning back into his embrace, her hand covering his, their rings gleaming in the reflected light of Atlantis. "I have everything I want. You?" she asked.
"Hm. Just that he'll be born healthy," John answered, looking back up at the sky. "And pizza. Pizza would be good."

Radek moaned, pressing down into Ronon's body as he throbbed into his lover, the heat of Ronon's release spreading between them. He slumped down against Ronon, glad that the other man could take his weight easily.
Ronon's fingers found the scar up under Radek's arm, slowly stroking it as he had done so often since Radek had taken a bullet for him. Radek giggled and tucked his arms in close, his head under Ronon's chin.
"Milacku," Radek murmured affectionately.
Ronon grunted, slipping his arms around Radek and turning them so they were on their sides, then dropping a kiss on Radek's head. "Yeah."

Teyla stirred as Elizabeth and Evan slipped into bed, wrapping her arms around Elizabeth and drawing her into a lazy kiss.
"Never going to get used to that," Evan said, spooning up against Elizabeth's back, his arousal evident by the erection pressed against her.
"You do not need to," Teyla answered, leaning over Elizabeth to kiss Evan.
Soon enough they were all curled together and Elizabeth marvelled once again that she was here. Her family was certainly unusual, but the Pegasus Galaxy had a way of making the unusual seem normal.
And this... this certainly felt right.

"Horton again?" Carson asked as Rodney slipped into bed with him.
"Yup," Rodney answered, dropping kisses onto Carson's lips. "Now, where were we?"
"Mmmmm...." Carson hummed appreciatively. "You were making me forget how much I hate you for talking me into this."
Rodney bent down and kissed Carson's tummy, where it had just begun to swell. "You know little John Nikola will be worth it."
Carson smiled up at him, his eyes soft. "Aye, I do, love. I do."
