Kimmykat,
Thanks for you kind words. Gotta admit it was the first time I was afraid of losing someone close even though my dad and I don't get along from time to time.
Drop me a line and let me know what's going on with you and Clan Fuqua!
Hey, I know we're not really friends but I see your posts when they pop up on my flist, and I couldn't help but make a comment.
Unless you were drinking diet soda, cutting out soda alone will help you drop weight. Seriously, look at the can and see how much sugar and calories you ingest per can. It might not be the tea that's helping, because even just switching to water will help you lose weight, but green tea does boost your metabolism.
Anyway, my little anti-soda rant is over, I'm glad you're moving on to better and more delicious beverages! Good luck on your quest to good health!
First off, I know we only met for a short time, but you have to do more than not talk to me in order to lose my friendship. I read about what's happening in your life, and I wanted to send you some kind words to help you through...but its all foreign territory to me. Sorry I didn't say anything sooner. I was hoping you might show up for Estrella, but I couldn't make it. Sorry if I missed you there. Always know you have a friend in AZ.
Thanks for the anti-soda rant. It was a real bitch to get off the soda, but tea is a nice substitute. I'm still trying to structure a workout regiment, but it's harder than originally planned.
Thanks! I'm glad we can be lj-friends! I didn't end up going to Estrella anyway, I couldn't afford the trip. Maybe next year! I'll remember you when I come to AZ, sgazer_1!
