I tried TVD up through the middle of S2 and went, "eh" (although I do find the Damon-Elena chemistry very intriguing).

It gets much, much better after the first 6-10 eps, though. However, there is still SO MUCH KISSING. I complain to my flist about ALL THE KISSING, and they say, "You've never watched any teen soaps, have you?" Which is a fact.

Anyway, practically everyone on my flist unironically adores TVD, so if you want people to squee with, I can point you in the right direction.

I have never heard of het_bigbang, but now I wanna play! However, I think one big bang this year might be plenty, or at least I'd need a gap in between spn_j2_bigbang and anything else I tried.

S3 is the best, so far, I think. Its got a good storyline(I love the good-guy-goes-bad trope SO HARD, and I enjoy Damon and Elena's relationship this season, so, biased a little) I like the drama and the teenybopper soap aspect. It's relaxing compared to the actual serious drama of, say, SPN, lol.

Eh, I'm not really looking at fandom. I don't want that kind of drama. I think I've got quite a few friends who watch it the same way I do, which is fine with me.

I did het_bigbang last year, when it started, and it was so amazing. It was brilliant fun. I don't know when the SPN bang is, but this one gets started in summer and ends in the late fall, if I remember correctly. So there might be time. The only reason I think I can swing this many is because I know the dates are so staggered. XD
