This entry is for myself more than anything.

Wednesday night, me and Sam were discussing what there was to do on Valentines night. Either go to the Tyneside cinema to see the Notebook and go for a meal or "do something totally crazy". I asked him what that was and this was the result:

L: Outside the hostel R: The dining room

L: The kitchen R: Artwork

L: Artwork outside the showers=my favorite R: Sam getting a bit snap happy while I was asleep on the train back

We went to Edinburgh!!!

Saturday:
On Saturday after work, Sam came over at about half 5(with roses, aww), then left at about 5:45 to catch the 6:42 train. Typical I booked his ticket on Friday the 13th- The train was cancelled! But there was another one just after 7 so we waited for that. Sat at the pasty shop (lol), had a cup of tea while Sam tried to teach me an asian board game. We exchanged Valentines gifts on the train, n'awh, he got me chocolates and a card in which he'd written a poem ^-^ Once we got to Edinburgh we went straight to the hostel- the Princes street backpackers, across the road from the Balmoral hotel. I have never been anywhere like it in my life. Can't even describe how crazy it was.
Had a look round the hostel then Sam cooked dinner(mushroom ravioli). About halfway through dinner this Belgian resident walks through, wishes us a happy Valentines day, puts the Vengaboys on really loud(the Vengabus) and turns the disco lights on. Trying not to laugh, we finish dinner and head off for a walk around then to a salsa club.
Got back to the hostel at about half 12(?) and went to bed. Meaning we tried to, but being the first time we'd slept in the same bed + being next to the radiator + the rhcp(dani california) coming from another room, we managed about 2hours sleep in the morning.

Sunday:
to be continued...

So, I never continued...

On Sunday we had a walk around part of the uni campus, then went to the botanical gardens for lunch. Poped into Tesco to buy lunch and who should be on the next check out but my very own sister! Who had no clue I had a boyfriend or that I was in Edinburgh.
After the botanical gardens we walked up to the top of some hill with a viewing point...I forget the name but i've been a few times.
