I think meets create a supersaturation of culture, during which it's easy to crystallize and fall in with people who you might otherwise be only sorta-ok friends with.

I agree with you on that, Fusi. I think too many people cross the line between wanting to get to know one of their "internet friends" better and becoming annoyingly clingy. I'm sure I've been guilty of that on a few occasions.

Yeah, St. Louis was a wake-up call. Too many people thinking too many things without first getting the facts. I totally enjoyed our "Drama Free" zone though. I think a lot of people felt comfortable hanging out with us in there.

I have a few "internet" friends that I don't consider as "internet friends" at all, you and Don falling into the top of my "real life" friends category.
