Have you ever had one of those times when you look at your hand, and there is a random cut there, and as soon as you look at it, it starts hurting? But you have no idea how it got there? I had one of those today, except it was a papercut. I hadn't handled paper for about 20 minutes before I looked, and as soon as I looked, lo and behold, a fresh ( Read more... )

My brothers and I were driving by laser tag today and discussion ensued over why Ultrazone kicks laser tag's ass.

Holy crap, only three days? I....better finish all the stuff I have to finish.
And yeah...Festivus is gonna rock. I'm more excited about it than I probably should be.

Me Me Me. Merry Christmas.

Oh dear god, Yes. Ultrazone was superior in every way:

1)RPG Memberships. It was God-like to be known as Cyber-Demon instead of Red-4

2)No Mirrors.

3)Bases. None of this team FFA shite, you could totally rock those bases.

4)Slow fire, and your hand had to be on the gun. Young whippersnappers.

I wish I could honestly say "THAT WAS YOU?!" in reference to Cyber-Demon, however, I can say: YOU WERE ONE OF THOSE KIDS?!

that's fucking awesome man...Ultrazone is amazing, THAT was the last place I ever got involved in any sort of laser-tag adventures...so yeah, it's been a while...I can't agree with you more on your mini-plus-points for Ultrazone...good stuff

about the paper cut...shitty.

and about your current song playing, is that the version by The Gypsy Kings? It's effin wicked.

Just to set the record straight, if there is any argument about the worst ultrazone/laser-tag player ever, it would have to be me. I played Ultrazone 3 times in my life. I was in the negative in two of those games, and I had positive 416 in the other (which is really low, btw).

And you are right -- malls are absolutely horrible. I can't think of the last time I went to a mall and enjoyed myself. It must have been a few years ago at least. I think it all goes back to Holden Caulfield, being the "catcher in the rye." He wants to catch all those kids from going over the edge of that cornfield of innocent happiness and turning into whatever cold-hearted beasts we are that hate shopping malls, but he just can't do it. I think Holden is the metaphor you were looking for. Holden is the answer to all of our problems.

"Boy, I was really chuckin' the crap around now ... Sensitive? That guy was about as sensitive as a goddam toilet bowl!"

Holden is far from the answer; I hated CITR

I actually can't really say whether I liked the book or not ... it was in eighth grade and we didn't know much about English back then.

But still ... go Holden.

oh my god! your class must have sucked because I LOVE that book...then again, I AM Holden [and a lot of people told me that when they read the book, or they said they understood me a lot better after reading it] I don't know how I should feel about that...but yeah, either way, CITR is definitely one of my favorite books :)

Nick I actually did know you were a lazer tag champion. I actually remember when we went to play and you inputed your code. You told me and I'm pretty sure one, maybe two people recognized you.

Since I knew this I must be your bestest friend ever.

I'm going to miss festivus though :(

You're Gatsby?

I always thought I was Nick. Recently I realised that I was edging toward Gatsby and I started to freak out. Then my sister walked by my door in that Daisuy Buchanon outfit she has and I got really really nervous.
