Well, things at JMU went well... unfortunately, the Early Action candidates thing wasn't eventful... there were no real activities, but mostly just information sessions on different majors. I did get to try out the dining hall, and it was holycrapgood. The princeton review said they had something like the 16th best food in the country for ( Read more... )

I just realized something incredibly dirty, but this is only because I have a very, very dirty mind. Change all of the G's to C's and you have something very sexual and very dirty. I think it's subliminal messaging. Those towns are full of crackwhores and nymphomanics.

That was a girl in my hiking group last summer -- "Speed hump" signs are pretty common out in New Mexico, but it was the first time we had ever seen one, and everyone thought it was pretty funny.

Ok, the above link doesn't seem to work very well. All it was was a picture of a street sign that said "SPEED HUMPS" in great big letters, and a very attractive girl positioning herself rather provocatively around the signpost. So, if you try to imagine it, maybe it can still be really funny. Like, think of Natalie Parmenter straddling a pole, and the pole says "speed humps" on the top of it. Yeah ...

No, you have to wall off the entire shopping center. Because that second hand bookstore is awesome.

You can wall off that one, and we can have constant turf wars. I think Atlas Diner would probably be contested, because their Buffalo Ranch Chicken sandwich and She-Crab soup are fucking awesome.

They opened a sushi bar called "Volcano" in about August, and they are about to open what I believe is a cook-at-your-table one called Yamato Steak in a few months.
