So imagine a competition--a race if you will. You've been involved for the past year and a half and run the actual race three or four times in that time. You're not the first person to find that something just out of reach is made more attractive by being so "just barley" untouchable. You love to run, and I think you'll agree that you love to win, but there's no winning when even after you've tried your hardest and given your all, you feel like you've lost. It puts a damper on you're self-perception... messes with your head. I think it's safe to say that it's not you- there's something very unhealthy about the particular race. I think you've made the right choice in running elsewhere- and I think you'll do just fine. Maybe you'll even realize not all things are races, in the end.
Keep running, Redford :)

:( I know what you mean... You want it so bad, and it's so close, but you just can't get to it. I'm sorry you're feeling so shitty... let me know if there's something I can do. I know we don't really see each other too much, but I've noticed you haven't been around lately. I just wanna make sure everything's okay with ya.
