Nikki, you're doing all you can and he knows that and you know that. All you can do for him right now is be there for him when he calls. Just listen to him when he needs someone to lean on. He goes to you and went to you first because he knows that you care about him and you of all people would understand him more than anyone else right now. You're crying because he IS your friend and you want to take his pain away, but you know and he knows that you can't. So just do what you've done and keep doing it. All he needs is someone that's gonna listen...you can be that for him. And he needs someone to be strong for him since he can't be. You are those things, Nikki. You have a big heart and that's why he goes to you. Hang in there. You'll know what to do...and by just being there for him...you're doing more for him than you think.
