I have a challenge for you.
It's probably my insane mind, but it appeared to me in the first SGU episode, the only way the ninth chevron could be dialed, is when the planet was in the middle of being destroyed.
So why would the Ancients create a chevron sequence that required the destruction of a planet, if they intended for it to be a return journey.
The challenge is, how do the people on the "Destiny" all react, as it slowly becomes clear that the ancients never designed the ship for a return trip.
