Just ate my first mango of the season, and I'm in love again. This one wasn't the greatest; it was getting dark inside, and still had a bit of sourness. Nonetheless, it made me think this whole winter was a dark age. Now there are mangoes, and I don't need anything else ( Read more... )

Yet another crazy fish: Anampses chrysocephalus, otherwise known as the psychedelic wrasse (and there are other common names for this fish).

I only recently encountered this fantastic photo. I thought the poster was just describing the fish in the title, not giving its actual common name.
