welcome to the status quo?

is this how normal people live? i'm honestly not sure. free weekends, free evenings, free federal holidays. have i done myself a disservice for the last 23 years of my life by being as busy as i possibly could? i held down all those jobs in college because i've always promised myself, suffer now enjoy later. i actually got to live that dream a ( Read more... )

:) yet another reason i like my job, we have 8 hour days with 1 hour lunch. i don't usually take an hour though... i'm mrs. dedicated.

i hear you. Chuck doesn't understand why i would even consider getting a second job. it's not even so much a money thing as something to do that does not involve TV, and he's gone so much evenings and weekends anyway. but then, i don't want to lose the time we do have together. i just need to come up with some outlet to fill the time.

yep yep yep. that's another reason i joined a singing group (church folk group). it's still not Bella though... i miss that type of interaction/waste of time. (hah)

yeah, i miss parts of Bella but not others - ie, the fun but not the drama that went with it. sometimes i miss singing in a group, but honestly, it's like i go through phases with it. it was weird not doing it after high school, since i'd ALWAYS been in church choir, but at the same time, since i took two years off, and then had a bad experience with the regular choir at MWC (well, not a terrible experience, but the director was insane and yelled at me when i told her i was sick and wasn't coming) . . . it's not that much of an imperative anymore.
