i love pbs. i've really gotten into documentaries recently, and perhaps i'm a little slow in discovering how fantastic they are, or perhaps the famous ones were never on topics that i cared much about. either way, they're so enlightening

the nice thing about pbs is that its highly decentralised... so they always show stuff that is locally interesting, like in houston, they show all texas parks and wildlife shows, and then all hte other stuff... i think my mom donates to pbs... now you just need to get into watching c-span...

c-span? i would have to break all of the bones in my body and be bed-ridden with only 5 channels to choose from before that would happen. hah.
