The cold weather has well and truly hit us. Its been snowing (and melting) for two days. Kids have been out sledging a few times, so they are happy. I am still ill and have had enough of this! I regret not going to the docs a week ago, when I could perhaps have ahd some chance of getting an appointment - no hope this week, its only open for "

Hey, grrl: I was wondering where you'd gone and how you were. I was hoping you'd gone off on some terrific holiday, and instead you've been sick. AND its freezing cold - ick, what a combo.

I'm like you, I don't call the docs right away - although the last time I did that I ended up having an emergency surgery that only 80% of people survive. I couldn't get an appt. either and literally sat in a waiting room from 4 a.m. to 5 p.m. - when they finally figured out I wasn't kidding (12 pelvics later - hey if Q can be TMI so can I) - they couldn't bag my jewelry fast enough...
