Feeling much better now. I forced myself to go to a friend's party last night - purely because the whole family was invited, all 6 of us and that is a rarity - and managed to last until the bells. Had 3 glasses of champagne so I felt fab - the kids were shocked because they never see me merry! I honestly feel it blew away some cobwebs ( Read more... )

my new years resolution will probably be to get up tomorrow before 10am :P
i know it's not a proper one, but it's so hard waking up for me :P

I remember the first time my niece interacted with me at an adult party. She spent a good deal of time looking agog at her Aunt Seshat, who was having a drink (!), being funny and just having a good time. I wasn't supposed to be human, you know. ;-)

Finding out that you are not just "mom" it can really shake your kids' world! LOL

A big New Years hug to you. I'm so glad you got out and had fun! How funny that your resolution is to grow your hair when so many of us have whacked ours off!

My resolution is to NOT try to grow my hair out again. So like Qasim I have NO aspirations. LOL.
