Poor Saffy, ill-health continues to dog her. She now has chicken pox. So I'm catching a quick five mins before I go and cover her in calamine lotion. Matthew hasn't had it so I'm keeping a close eye on him

Chicken Pox...eek!! My two had it a few years ago, Pheebs had about half a dozen spots, but poor Cal was really ill. He was covered, in his mouth, ears and less desirable places. Everyone I know swears blind that boys are hit harder. Hope your lot don't fair too bad me dear. :)

I had chicken pox during the Christmas vacation of my senior year in high school. I was 17 and got them from my 3 year old brother who brought them home from a Mom's Day Out play date. All five of us kids got them in varying degrees. He was down for about 3 days with fever and had maybe a dozen spots. I was down for two full weeks and had chicken pox in places you don't even want to think about. It was hell on earth.
