It has rained all day. Got soaked jumping in puddles on the way to school and I've been cold ever since. Parent's evening today (yes that doesn't make sense, but I have to go straight after school) and I think it should go well. Had a great one on Friday at the High School - all Sam's teachers were fab. It was nice of you to respect Sam's wishes, but it must have taken a lot of self-control to not approach that teacher. I think I would have been unable to keep away! Insults are never acceptable, IMO.

When I was a kid I had religious education every day at school, and later weekly. Whatever particular beliefs or views each teacher held were not up for discussion, and they varied greatly from teacher to teacher! It was there that I first learned just how narrow-minded people can be. At least Sam's learned the valuable lesson that teachers are just people with foibles, regardless of what they teach.

That is so dumb...Moses in pink, I swear some teachers have issues that they carry into the classroom. I agree with Seshat...well done you for not having a pop at the teacher.

Have you dried off yet? It has rained constantly up here today, seems like most of Scotland got their fair share today eh?

Nope - still chucking it down here! It stopped raining about 3pm and I thought that was the end of it and walked to the school. Bad mistake - we were all like drowned rats by the time we got home!
Are your kids on holiday next week?

Mine are only off next week, I wonder why your school gets two weeks? I'm not looking forward to finding things to keep them amused. I hope the weather improves for you though.
