This is lovely. The language is lush and evocative and yet very efficient as well. Each word feels necessary. There's such a strong visual and emotional quality to these snapshots. I feel like I've just been through a gallery of paintings :). Really nice.

And Remus feels safe. And Remus feels happy. And Remus feels like he is not alone.

(When he gets home Sirius will be inside, pouring tea to warm him up. They will kiss hello and talk of petty things, how are you feeling and how was your day, and both will say I love you twice before the day is over.

It will never again occur to either how close they once were to disaster.)

This makes me absolutely ache for what could have been. Lovely job.

This is gorgeous, and oh, I wish I wish I wish they'd talked, instead of letting their suspicions fester in silence. *sniff*

It was so nice to write this, just for that reason-- I never do AU, but I loved being able to switch it around so that they got a happy ending :-P. Thank you for the feedback!

I love the way you capture the months, the imagery and the description are just perfect. And of course there is the happy ending, the way we all wished it could have turned out. Lovely, lovely fic.

Beautiful imagery! Just the tiniest peek into each month, yet so profound and vital. Oh, if they had only swallowed their pride and confronted each other... *sigh* Lovely story!
