[The comm's video function clicks on and immediately there's a bustle of panic, whining sounds and gasping as something moves around just out of sight

[The view -- or wait, was it sound? -- from the communicator makes Danny reach out to touch it. He presses something, and a moment later the video feed kicks in.
Danny looks terrified, frankly. He's completely disoriented, and his head is constantly moving around the room every time a skeleton guard moves, or the music from the next cell gets louder.]
*It wasn't often that Marco felt sorry for people in the brig. He didn't, entirely, this time since he still assumed Danny was in the wrong (he must have killed someone to end up there. Possibly Reno, since that was the only death Marco knew about lately). Still, Marco doubted Danny even understood what was going on or what he had done.*
...It won't last long. Just try to calm down.
*Though he was done replying after this, since clearly the noises of the comm weren't helping.*
[As far as Danny was concerned, this was his new home. This was the same kind of cell he was raised in, it wasn't a stretch to consider they'd moved him here now that Ganon had assumed responsibility as Danny's master.
But the disorienting sounds and sights confuse him completely, and he curls up on his side, eyes shut and hands clamped over his ears.]
[Danny presses buttons until the comm comes on, but it's all so disorienting. He clamps his hands over his ears and suddenly ... he can hear. It's not quite as if he just covered his eyes, it's still disorienting. But it's not the frantic confusion of before.
His eyes stare blankly ahead, but he does seem to calm a little.]
You... can't stay there forever. Y'know? You'll be out before you know it.
[Shaky video or no, it's... obvious where this guy is. He hurt someone--Vash heard the announcement same as anyone. But he looks so... maybe it was just a misunderstanding.]
[He's hesitant to take his hand away from his ear to flick the communicator on -- it's obviously some kind of mobile phone, like the one Bart used, though why they'd give Danny one was beyond him -- so he reaches out and uses the edge of his training shoe to turn it on.
Danny doesn't know who this man is. He seems nice, which means he's probably not really supposed to be talking with him. But still, Danny's fascinated. His eyes might be blank, but some of the fear has clearly dissipated. He can't hear what Vash is saying, but his expression and body language says everything his words can't.]
