summer time friends??

My wife and I have a friend who we think/thought a lot of. A while ago we got along really well, we caught up with each other quite often and it seemed like they thought the same of us as we did of them. However, it seems lately, say over the past 3 months or so, that this person has changed their opinion of us. We haven't seen them in a long time

time to move on my dear, why dont you just send them a txt to the effect of "miss seeing you, hope to catch up b4 we go away, balls in your court!" and leave it at that?
