Tell me, ye savvy folk out there. What are some good sources for The Law As It Applies To Me? In a general educational sense, no specific territory. Concise clever-but-new informational sources.

Oh, and while I'm at it, good news sites? I'm already reading The New York Times and glancing over CNN.com sometimes-- what are good less-biased ( Read more... )

What kind of law? Are we talking Federal Civil Law, Criminal Law, Property Law, Tax Law? More specifics, please! :)

At least a little of all of the above, probably. A general overview source would be fantastic, a reference library of some sort that's not too far out in the cryptic legalese. Primer! ;)

Lexis-Nexis has the laws as they are written. There's a bit of legalese, but it's usually defined in the code itself.
