Serious is as serious does, seriously. And anyone who takes seriousness seriously should be shot in the crotch. Seriousness just happens, and I think you'd be the first to know when you're serious.

Put that into a more serious phrasing, and you'll see that I mean to be encouraging/supportive/helpful. Things which I naturally am not, but I'll make the effort just for you. ^_^
