Just do what I do: keep a closed profile. 95% of the people on my "friends" list in Facebook can't see the things that I don't want them to see.

I don't know if I was the one who posted that picture with you in it, but that is a case in point: only about 4 other people can actually see that picture.

It is as open or as closed as you want it.
