Title: Becoming Fandoms: Leverage/Highlander Pairing: EliotSpencer/Methos Summary: Parker has an existential crisis. Spoilers: Mention made of info found out in The Beantown Bailout Job, but set before that.
This is wonderful and you did an excellent job with Parker's voice. ("You know that's not what really happens, right?" "It's a metaphor" "Oh, okay." Hah!) This section has a certain melancholy air to it, with both of them missing Eliot, that highlights their individual quirks, both strengths and weakness. I wonder what it is that they do in the morning that shows Parker a whole new world.
The whole metaphor was rather clunky, but I desperately loved Parker's reaction, so I left it. I have such fun writing her, and they play so well together.
I'll make references to what they got up to as I go along, but it was mostly just introducing Parker to childhood.
It occurs to me that Methos must introduce himself to childhood on a fairly regular basis so that his identities know the references that the new generations know.
