I think my favorite bit, though, is where Methos is genuinely disturbed by seeing Eliot give up. Even knowing that it's a con, he doesn't want to have seen that, he doesn't want to have to think it's possible. And Eliot understands and knows how to reassure him.

What can I say? They're my OTP. They play off each other so wonderfully.

Methos and Eliot angst so well. I suppose it's because they've got so many secrets and so much baggage.
